This past weekend, 50 volunteers roamed the streets of Atlanta to reach those who are homeless and in transition! We served, shared the love of God, and touched hundreds of people in need. Below are a few pictures from our time serving below!
In less than two weeks, we are going to attempt to do something we have never done before to serve the under-resourced in Atlanta. Keep #lovebeyondwalls in your prayers as we prepare to launch the campaign.

This AM I feel many different emotions… Excited… Hopeful…and many other emotions that I cannot describe… Why? Because tomorrow, we’ll show our first 20 minute film as an organization at Ga Tech in the LeCraw auditorium. I cannot believe we have produced a piece that is both inspiring and challenging.
The reason I have these different emotions is simple… We’ll highlight many homeless people we have encountered this year, but some of them have moved on to other states (off of the streets) and will not be able to see the piece at the first showing. However, I know many will view via (web) when they get a chance. I cannot wait to show our piece, and reveal the next campaign we’ll do to serve the under-resourced in Atlanta.
Lastly, we will release this piece via web 8 days after we show it at Ga Tech. Thank you to all of you who support our work in the city! We hope to see you there as our guest…

The starter, @terencelester is 10 DAYS AWAY from launching our next major campaign with a bus our org was donated to serve the less fortunate! He says, “Some may call crazy, but I call it I call it #lovebeyondwalls…”

Last week, we released Brittany’s story, and got amazing responses! This week people started giving to this single mother with eight children. In fact, a generous couple gives away their furniture to help us start the process of furnishing her new townhome!
She was once homeless, and now is in need of a little help….You can help too! She still needs baby bunk beds, kitchen items, winter clothes for her kids, etc…

This past Saturday, #lovebeyondwalls teamed up with Vinings Church, and several volunteers to take love to those who are homeless in ATL. While out serving, the Love Beyond Walls team encountered a man who had been given very harmful drugs and had lost his memory. In fact, he wasn’t homeless but had been robbed and was living as a homeless person…. He was only trying to connect with his friends.
Long story short, he was visiting Atlanta for the games that were in town, and was able to reconnect with his friends from our time serving. Not only was this amazing, we encountered several homeless friends with amazing stories.

Love Beyond Walls is gearing up to show its first short documentary highlighting people in the trenches making a difference.
This movie will highlight working class people, homeless individuals, and many who live under desperate circumstances.
This short film will highlight the story of how our organization started, and where we are aiming to go to reach more people with God’s love. You will leave with a heart of compassion towards individuals that are under-served, and under-resourced.

We met Tiffany the other day after it rained! We stopped and asked her why she was carrying a trash bag, and she stated, “ALL MY THINGS GOT WET…I WISH I HAD A BAG” Well, we were able to resource Tiffany with a proper bag, and gave her a ride to get checked into a shelter. During the ride to the shelter, she gave the idea to help the homeless with carrying bags… Thus, we launched #carryATL
Have you ever had to carry your entire life’s belongings in a trash bag? Or have you ever experienced having your things thrown away because you were homeless and had no where to store them? In September, #lovebeyondwalls will gather carrying bags to aid local shelters, charities, and homeless individuals with a simple tool to carry their personal belongings. Join us as we show respect, and give dignity back to those who are in transition.

Today, I made 60 DAYS in one outfit… That’s two months or 1,440 hours. I only have 30 days left in one outfit to raise uniforms for kids in four schools who will struggle in their closets. #lovebeyondwalls has vowed to adopt four schools [READ HERE TO FIND OUT SCHOOLS] to resource over 200 students who may need a help in their closets this coming school year.
It has been a long sixty days in this one outfit, but I’m not stopping until @lovebeyondwalls resources every single child…
As you can see, my shoes are busted and my uniform has collected tons of stains… This has been both embarrassing and rewarding! Why? Because I’m following what Christ would do… I’ll release my first video tonight explaining why I started this journey…

This weekend, #lovebeyondwalls met and exceeded our water goal for the summer! Schools, individuals, youth, and businesses all chipped in and helped us to meet our goal.
Not only did the contribution this weekend put us over our goal, but it revealed the power of collaboration, and storytelling to accomplish something great for those who we aim to serve.
