Love Beyond Walls Honored at SCLC

This past Saturday, our starters (Terence & Cecilia Lester) received a social advocacy award at the 58th National SCLC Convention for the work we do at Love Beyond Walls. The theme of the entire convention was centered around the memory and legacy of Martin Luther King’s “Poor People’s Campaign.”

Mobile Makeover Feature!

This week’s makeover feature’s Chago! Over the last month, not only has he learned how to operate a computer, but has set a goal to get his driver’s license for the first time in his life. Love Beyond Walls @ Woodward Academy

Today, we got a chance to train a group of young men at Woodward Academy on what it means to be servant leaders in the twenty-first century (and how they can make an impact in the world around them).

We are grateful that this group of young men will get involved with our work and do three projects with our organization!

Giving Tuesday – Dignity House!

Tomorrow is “Giving Tuesday!” Consider giving a small gift toward our goal to purchase a home for the homeless men we serve!

So far, we have raised a little over 14K toward this project, and only need less than 10K to start reach our goal to start mobilizing people. We are super super close!
